question for the slapshot enthusiasts

Back before 'Olde Tyme Hardcore' came out i saw Slapshot in London with a couple of other bands that I think were from Boston.

At least one of em had some members from Slapshot in at the time. One band was called Gorilla and the other was called Bitter.

I can't find any reference to these guys online and as I didn't know many other people into hardcore at the time, only me and a couple of my boys seem to remember them over here.

i'm sure some of you older heads must have seen em once or twice.

did these bands ever release anything?

That was 1995. Slapshot was on tour with Right Direction (from Holland) and Bitter (from Boston) which I played bass in. The UK shows were the last few of the tour and RD couldn't get the visas to get in so it was just Slapshot and Bitter. Anyone else that played was local support and I can't remember for the life of me who it may of been.

cheers guys
nice to fill a gap in my memory
i'll check that myspace link now

xoversux the whole lineup was Slapshot, The Business, Bitter and Gorilla.

i remember a large bunch of wp skins showing up and the atmosphere for The Business was pretty edgy but nothing happened thankfully other than a load of seig heils.

I found out they later they chased some friends of mine onto the train because they were at the show with a black guy.
Funny how they had to wait for the black guy to leave before they started anything...

edit - these tunes are bangin' man

Oh yeah, that was the London show, the Business hadn't played in London for quite some time and some sketchy at best dudes showed up.

I don't recall the Gorilla band.

Here's a pic from the show:

WOW... who knew he cleaned up so well! When I saw him he looked like he fell into Watties closet & put on anything that stuck to him.

Unrelated: You havent emailed me again have you? I just want to make sure that I'm not getting stuff you send for some reason.
