Reason you post here: you guys are cool, there's no judging, no pushing opinions, just a bunch of good friends, honored to be here,
honored to be part of the board and hoping to stay for long... I found the Thorp site while searching for some clenched fist music, if I remember
correctly, and when I saw the names sheer terror and b4b in the same page I knew I was in the right place and came into the board to show my b4b page:
www.blood4blood.cjb.net
Job: unemployed for now, fuck! give a job! but I'm going to college though, hopefully, I'll have an electronics and telecomunications
degree in 2 years from now.
Bands, zines or any other hardcore activity: time to let the world know: Dak, Josh, Quinn and I are forming a new hardcore/pop boy's
band called Electric Sunshine Under My Belt! but beside that, not doing anything else..

Age- 31
Reason I post here - Came to the Thorp site after buying one of their releases. Had never heard of the label at the time and wanted to check it out.
This is the first message board I ever posted on. Stuck around cause it's a cool place, and like Defstarsteve, I talk to people on here more than
anybody in my "real" life.
Bands/zines/etc. Nothing.

REASON YOU POST HERE: Everyone is way cool and no bullshit like other boards. Your all good people.
JOB: Auxilary Sheriff deputy part-time. Fulltime student at Cleveland State University
Bands, zines or any other hardcore activity: Played guitar in a band that is still around called CROSFACE. They are doing much better now than back
then. I have been into hardcore/punk since I was a youngin in 1989. Spent lots of money and time thinking jamming drinking and going to shows. Not so
much as of the past few years though. I bought a TRIPFACE cd a long time ago. I had no idea you were in that band. Purchased through VERY DISTO back
in the day when they only had those catalogs distributed at shows.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

REASON YOU POST HERE: The People are the greatest. Good people talking about anything. I enjoy the art of conversation and this group has mastered
that art. Even if people disagree and piss each other off, they'll still share some music and help when the other one is down. Oh, and the porn
links are usually pretty good.
Bands- One day I will play a show as "Mark Down and The Discounts". Zines- www.stlouisgametime.com. I am a "staff writer" to a degree and try to remain anonymous. I lvoe all things hockey and the St. Louis Blues.
Lastly, I am the President of the "Clevohardcore Is Neato" fan club. He is one badass MC. Don't fuck with him. He'll cut you.
Chino- Very cool B4b Site any chance you'd have some tabs up on the site?

Reason you post here: Found the board as a result of being in a band on the label. I honestly can't say I'm at all in the loop when it comes to the
contemporary hardcore scene but I guess it's the wide variety of interests and opinions that keep me coming back- can't think of another hardcore
board where discussion is as likely to include Richard Thompson, James Hunter or Clancy Eccles as it is Madball or Sick of it All. It's also nice to
see a board where politics and social issues can be discussed with a bit of maturity and respect, seems to be a rarity in internet circles. I've been
pretty slack posting the last six months or so due to being kind of nomadic but I finally got around to picking up a laptop so I should be around a
bit more.
Job: Nurse (currently doing travel nursing- in Vancouver at the moment)
Bands, zines or any other hardcore activity: Used to play guitar and mandolin in The New Breed, played in a handful of other bands growing up, used to
put on punk/hardcore shows in Prince Edward Island... been pretty slack the last few years

Reason you post here: I started posting here cause The Welch Boys and The Ducky Boys were on this label but now when I do post it's
for good conversation and the fact that the people here really aren't assholes and are cool guys.
Job: I'm on disability so no full time job but I do stuff with videos when I can.
Bands, zines or any other hardcore activity: I'm not in a band but am considered the 6th Welch Boy. I am their webmaster. I also do
music videos on the cheap that I think end up looking pretty pro like.
