Am I the only one who thinks American Idol is a sign of the end?
I fucking hate this show with a passion. It shows exactly why pop music is so wrong. I hate it so.

sing Elton John songs? That makes you an IDOL???

The only time I ever watched American Idol was the beginning of the last Idol... the one with William Hung. It was kinda funny to see people make
asses of themselves. Once it became a serious competition I changed channels and never looked back.
Fuck that show.

Just fucking hope you don't get the Aussie smash hit DANCING WITH THE STARS. TV celebs fucking dancing & vote on the best. Fucking horrible, finale
was last night so its finally fucking done.
We're down to the top 7 or 6 on American Idol here since everything is so far behind. Aussie Big Brother starts in May too.

It sucks, no question about that, but I don't really find the premise of the show any more offensive than the existence of pop groups concieved and
assembled by record labels. With the inception of the monkees (really the first "boy band"), any notion that popular music necessarily stemmed from
passion or creativity pretty much went out the window. American Idol, shitty as it is, is really just the logical conclusion.

That Supernanny shit is amazing. It just came out last week here & dominated the ratings across the country for its time slot. Kicked the shit out
of the old favourite Macleods Daughter. She goes in and gives people all kinds of shit because they suck at life, I fucking love that.

You are so right on Duane. It's pretty awesome. I watched the Biggest Loser. That sent a great message to people about getting in shape and doing
better for themselves. But I'm a fitness freak so it was right up my alley.
