Back from the funny farm
I really hate being locked up 24 hours a day. Feels like jail. Thankfully I'm going to be treated as an outpatient for the time being. A few days
in the psych ward will fuck you up. I watched a woman smash her face into a wall repeatedly while calling herself ugly, and I watched a dude who had
slit his wrist rip out his stitches and start bleeding all over his fucking lunch. People are fucked.

glad to hear these folks will be able to give you the help you need, esp on an outpatient basis.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

The good thing is you feel halfway fucking normal after being in one of those places.

I'll go once a week for six weeks and meet with a social worker and a psychiatrist so they can evaluate how I'm doing. The goal is to set me up with
long term psychiatric care closer to where I am and to see exactly what kind of treatment would suit me best. I also start anger management classes
on Thursday which everybody who has ever met me says I really need, and that's eight weeks.
