ok, im getting alot of shit from peolpe so let me break it down about why im mad that they are talking about straightedge in an ignorant light
tommorow night.
its not so much the slander and or plain ignorance about straightedge by the mainstream that pisses me off. its the point that older people watch this
show "judging Amy". they will see this and think their straightedge kid (assuming they have 1) is in a negative club,gang,cult, whatever ths shit you
wanna call it. this will cause the kid to feel misunderstood wich can lead to such social problems as running away, cutting, suicide, and other shit.
not to mention the kid might question his/her own beliefs and break edge, because he/she thinks it is wrong. tv does have that much effect on peolpes
heads. Also if we dont complain to CBS about their ignnorant ploy for ratings and let them know we will be heard and we are serious, who knows there
could be "stoping the violent underground party cult called hardcore, next week on law and order". They need to study the roots of straightedge and
how its a personal belief and not the cases of violance from other people who dont understand it.we gotta step up.

Because they have strong convictions?
They think they are being ignorant, which is true. Tv can influence a lot of people.
I think the episodes stems from her meat is murder stance and she gets suspended during a protest, so she is hardline!!!
I could care less though, I am going to laugh furiously during this episode because they are so misinformed.
