Dating.....
what is everyones opinion on dating someone whom has children?
Its something that i've never really thought about before, but i'm sure that the older i get, (as i'm not getting any younger here) that it could come
up.
I myself, don't really want kids, i'm not really comfortable with the interaction with them... (except for with my little cousins)
So just throwing this out there, anyone ever dated someone who had/has kids? or has anyone here who has kids ever dated...
and for the record, [for my buddy's] i'm not dating nor looking right now, i'm kinda enjoying my time being single right now. But at some point, (who
the hell knows when) I will meet someone....

I could never do it...walking, talking proof some other guy busted a nut in your woman. Damaged goods as far as I'm concerned, but thats just my
opinion.

I have no interest in ever having children so I couldn't date a woman with kids. Not a situation I want to be involved with.

I dated a dude that had a baby. Being away from the kid killed him. He dumped me to get her back, and eventually it worked.
I also dated a dude that had 3 kids, only took care of one, and while we were together he found out he had an 11 year old in Louisiana. I could NEVER
get serious in that situation.
I personally want to get married someday and have a baby. Dosn't actually mean it's going to happen though.
If Mr Right came along and had a kid, I guess it all depends on the situation with the baby mama. If both have moved on, yet stay friends and he is
actually as good of a dad he can be,.... then I'd let him cook me dinner and take it slowly from there.

I'm on the other side of this coin.
I have an 11 year old son, whom is a big part of my life. I have dated a few broads who came to discover they didn't want the competition for
attention / weren't mature enough for the situation. whatever. I moved on and found someone special who I've been with for over 2 years now ( long
time for me).
I've also dated chicks who also had kids, but these ones were kinda disasters with major drama still between the ex or just a stick up their asses who
wanted to mold me into whatever they didnt have before. Didn't happen.

A buddy of mine also refuses to go near a woman that has had a kid. The thought of it freaks him out.

Dated 1 virgin in 8th grade, but I was too.Virginity didn't last long. Never been with a girl that had a kid.....the thought of something bigger than
my fist squeezing out of her fuckhole turns me off.

hahahahaha!
I can't say I blame ya. The whole hole thing freaks me out just thinking about it. And I hear they snip ya between the girls 2 holes. yeah. FUCK THAT!
I think I'd rather they just cut open my stomach and rip the little sucka out.

I thought about this before and I think I would be able to do handle it once I am ready to even have kids.
I guess I have a different perspective because the main father figure in my life was my step pop and he was a better dad than my biological donor. He
was actually my neighbor and my step brother was actually my best friend before our two families came together.

I'd be reluctant just because I don't really feel mature/grounded enough right now to be a fixture in a kid's life.
On the other hand, for the right girl I could probably get past it and rise to the occasion.

No high fives.
No shorts.
No broads with kids.
No potato salad.
Those are my 4 rules in life.

now here is another take...what about age difference?
now i've never dated anyone whom was older than i was.(eg: born the same year)
I've always thought that there was a buffer zone that everyone is comfortable with, mine would have to be, like maybe 3 years my senior, and 4-5 years
younger...what is your comfort zone on ages?
[Lionel your not allowed to comment on this question, because we all know that your range is whomever will buy you a drink at a bar]

hey-oooooo, Lionel!!!
dating a woman with a child? i dunno. at this point in my life, i think it would depend on when that fact came up. i think if i knew from the
beginning, i might not be too psyched. seems like a lot of potential baggage. but if i had spent some time developing a significant relationship
with the person, then it came out, i might be more vested in it. i wouldn't call it dating, but when i was like 20, i was kind of seeing someone that
had a kid. but she was super hot and the child lived with its grandmother. oddly, i was ok with the kid part...but i broke it off when she started
working at a strip club. i tried to rationalize it, but the first time i picked her up from work, i was like, 'this is fucked'. ha!
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

when i was younger and dating, it ranged from three years older to three years younger.
if i were dating now, i think i'd be open to a wider range, but it depends on the person.
