just checking in....
been a long week here at def-star HQ....
I don't get to post much as I have been pulling 12 hour days at the day job.
I sit behind a computer all day but no time for anything other than the grind....
been at the new job for 2 weeks and there was another full time artist at that point but he got into a fist fight with one of the guys in the screen
department on monday, so I am the entire art department now...
yippe more responsabillity for the same pay...
some highlights for this week
this was monday
had to spend the day making these idiots look like people on a t-shirt, only needed to print 5000...
then had to fix the old artists work on this
10,000 for hot topic...
than it was de la hoya time, 15,000 shirts....
I even made this shirt proof used on the website...
as the artist I have to walk each project thru from seperating the art into a printable piece to making sure the screens are correct, the color
matching is straight and it up on the press correct...to the final approval with the customer.
if soemthing is wrong i have to fix or have it fixed, basically like owning the company again but without the end profit...
the little bullshit we have to do to survive in the current economy...
