fully agree. the 70's stuff is fucking killer. i've got the spanish only release of their first album and it's better than most of the stuff of the period. despite 1 or 2 songs i could do without, "running riot in 84" is an absolute classic. don't even get me started on "guilty as charged" either, holy shit i love that album. despite a handful of really great songs, "two monkeys" was the only low point of a band capable of much better. woulda been a really good record for any other band, but not sparrer. and im really feeling the new record, some really great songs on there for sure, a definite return to form for them.
