Not too bad, but really nothing special. I hate when bands cover a song from another band and don't change it up one bit. They could have made that a lot heavier and added some gang vocals on the refuse/resist part.

Very forgetable.

Good cover. MM is right though. Its one thing to honor the band your covering, but you ahve to add your sound to it. For the most part I think HATEBREED did good with it.

just listened.
that is really similar to the original.
i mean, with the exception of no accent, it's nearly identical.

I've always found Hatebreed to have a strong Sepultura influence, anyway, so I'm not surprised the cover sounds as similar as it does.

I always liked how Blood For Blood covered songs. They would make it sound like one of their own tunes.

Yeah, BFB definitely had a pretty unique style that was all their own, that I haven't heard duplicated at all.

Most bands just phone in their cover songs. Rob always did a great job with BFB covers. "All This And More", "Ace of Spades", "A Day in the Life", and "Runaway" all come to mind as really good re-workings.

Their Slapshot and Wretched Ones covers are pretty great, too.

B4B made MOTORHEADS ace of spades even better and I already loved the tune.

Although I hate the original version, I love Slapshot's cover of White Rabbit. It seemed a very fitting song for them.

it's ok. Like MM said though, too similar. When we cover things, we definitely try to make it our own. (Hint lookout for an 80's cover in RI this weekend Shootingscars. It's not a harcore/punk song but we definitely are going to make it one.)

I definitely believe in homage, not copy.

Good punk/HC/oi shows coming up. Check out http://myspace.com/refuseresistband
