Who Is Setting Fire to Coatesville?
Coatesville is near where I live.
It's the only 'city' in our county and downtown is surprisingly ghetto.
Anyway, this has been all over local news, but I was surprised to see this article from Time on Yahoo's homepage this morning.

My girlfriend's dad lives out there.
He works at the VA Hospital in the Psych Ward.
He lives more on the outskirts of town, but I had her call him just to make sure he wasn't right in that shit.
Loks like Philly from what I've seen on the news. Never been out that way in years.
It's been pretty bad there. that is alot of fires in a short span of time.
I fear if they don't catch the perp. that someone will be mistakenly shot or something in the name of vigalante justice

from what i understand, the neighborhoods surrounding downtown aren't bad, some actually quite nice, but the city itself has always been a wreck. of
the ten or twelve murders that occur in chester county every year, something like 90% are in c-ville. i avoid it completely.
