- we can prune by date (posts more than xxx days old)
- we can delete entire threads (like the one linked to above)
- we can delete individual posts.
in fact, you should be able to delete your own posts as well. find one you don't like, click the green 'edit' button and on the next page, you'll see
an option to "! Delete this message !".
i think for the most part, people's account info is relatively anonymous. certainly most user names are. but if you have an email address, IM
address or website listed in your account, people might be able to put together the pieces of who you are. same goes for post content. personally,
my account info is vague, but with 11,000 posts, you can bet there's enough personal info to figure out who i am.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I know some of the stuff I've posted I wouldnt want my employer to see. (The thread about my supervisor in the hate forum) I think either of BD
suggestions would be fine.

- at some point this week, i'm going to try to move all posts from before 1/1/08 to a new thread only accessible to registered members.
