Do bands/artists make the same amount when you buy though itunes versus buying through the label?
I have always wondered. I remember someone bitching about it in a interview a couple years ago. It was a rapper I think.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Wow. If you play music it should be required that you go to Law School first. For sake of your tunes.

Seriously. The one thing I can respect about Dave Matthew is that he wouldn't sign anything that didn't give him complete control/licensing of his
songs.

Depends on the deal. We do better selling cds ourselves because then we don't have to worry about the digital download fees (from itunes, etc). Plus
we get it right away, rather than waiting for the paperwork, etc.
