Love it or hate it, Scrapple is the quintessential Pennsylvania breakfast treat. Celebrate all things Scrapple at Scrapplefest! at Reading Terminal
Market on Saturday, March 21st from 10 am to 4 pm. Local Scrapple brands will sample their products, chefs will prepare an assortment of scrapple
dishes, and a panel of local celebrities will judge the best Scrapple dish in Reading Terminal Market.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I actually saw scrapple in a supermarket here. I was surprised to see it, and wanted to buy it but the Mrs. said no. I've never had it before, so
maybe I'll go buy it this weekend when she's at work.

unfortunately, didn't make it down.
short notice (found out last night) and too much to do today.
i've got it on my calendar for next year, though.

very informaative.
however i find vegetarian scrapple laughable.
i enjoyed a whole loaf ( 1 lb) just to myself tonight
that and some slammin macaroni salad i mAde'
i have plans to experiment with deep frying it
after that i may need a week of salads

Could it be something you'd mix with scrambled eggs then cook?

you could do that.
need to cook it first, like you would bacon or sausage, then mix in the eggs.
usually, you slice it just under a half inch thick and throw it in a fry pan.
after 8 or 10 minutes, outsides will be firm and crispy, but the inside will be hot and, well, mushy.
