yeah, i got that far, mike!
but what i mean is, is it another renamed venue?
if not, what used to be in that space?
i worked right around the corner @ 3rd & 24th for years, but i cant picture a theater at lex & 23.
it's not that old club near the bottom of madison park, where they used to have the concrete jungle drum and bass nights, is it?

no idea who capitol is but I would love to see the rest on the same bill.

Capitol is really good. I think they are from MD or DC. I looked them up when I was setting up our tour last year.
Didn't get to play with them, but loved their sound.

| worst crap ass venue in the city for a show like that. security are a bunch of dickfaces, sterile
atmosphere, 7$ beers from a can.
never again will my humble soul grace this forsakken shitplace again.

Call me crazy, but I have never once in 21 yrs of shows let a venue stop me from seeing bands I like.

i passed on a metal show at bb kings once.
i had been there once for a blues show and didn't realize they could remove those seats.
lesson learned!

| fair enough. to me personally a show is more than just the bands on stage. it's a mix of music and
environment, a certain atmosphere created by these 2 factors. and this fucked up blenders place is just not making the cut. but yeah, that's just
me...
