Rancid's new album

Is anyone here looking forward to this? Its coming out June 2nd. You can listen to one of the new tracks on their myspace page. Kinda has a AOCTW -avenues and allyways sound to it. Overall its a decent song.

I was never RANCID fan but they have grown on me over the past few years. FUnny thing is I like the album most people hate. LIFE WONT WAIT.

I hated that album for the longest time until last summer I starting listing to it because I was bored of all the other albums and now I don't mind it at all.

Took a while to get into that album, but I like it now. Not one of my more enjoyed CD's, but it gets some time every now and then.

Never heard the solo stuff. I always thought assumed them as a friendly bank trying to bank on an image. I know they have the cred but it felt cheap to listen to them. After getting older and less pretentious about everything I realized they are dudes just trying to get by like every single one of us. Except they had a avenue to take that most of us didn't. They utilized it. It works. So I picked up a couple records on THORPBOARDS suggestions. RANCID is not a bad band. I still haven't grabbed the newer stuff LWW is the oldest thing, but I like the new song. LWW is cool because again to me it sounds like a band that is finally getting tired of the old routine and really making a effort to be different at the risk of alienating some fans. Another bonus is that a remember sexing up a couple chicks that were RANCID fans. 2 in particular. Still see one of them around town occasionally. We are on good terms. The wife doesn't like her so we don't hang out, but like DLR once sang. "THOSE WERE GOOD TIMES, DAMN GOOD TIMES"

No, not having sex with RANCID on, but having sex with chicks who like RANCID. Thats all I ever thought of RAANCID as a easy "punk" band for chicks to like. Like a tough green day or something.

I used to know a girl that claimed she liked getting it on with Cannibal Corpse playing.

I wasnt a fan of it when it first came out. I did buy it a few years after its release and found it to be a really good album. Its a perfect album for the summer time.

I haven't listened to Life Won't Wait in ages. I remember not being all that into it when it first came out and selling it to buy some straight edge record that probably sucked though.
