I'm an old, bitter, jaded asshole
went to mattybar's show yesterday...
went three hours late, since i'm used to opening bands sucking, and i'm picky about the hardcore (and everything else) that i like these days. stuck
around for one band's set (i think sound of fury, but not sure... matty can help, but the singer spoke in spanish a bit and had half his ass exposed
with his baggy jeans). wasn't into the band or the crowd... sorry, no spin kicks for me.
wanted to see stout and ninebar, but just didn't have it in me to stick around any longer.

next show i'll probably go to is this on...
BD, you gonna be around by then, or are you coming later? i think you'll be around, and it's me that's gonna have to find a place to crash to still
be around, since my lease ends week or two earlier.

Drongos are an old band. I remember Loud Fast Rules doing an interview with them a year or two back.

hey, there were a LOT of other bands before that... i wasn't about to sit through another six hours to see knucledust, though i was curious to check
them out. 
worst part? i left a show to go read academic papers. and not to study for exams, but because i was more interested in reading the papers than being
at the show.  see title of thread again after reading that.

i only just got your u2u message this morning mate
the monday show ran crazy late, finished about 11:30pm or something.
sorry you had to leave early.
saturday was ridiculous. at one point we were at about 4 times the venue capacity!
Stout was just total chaos. I know my mate was filming it so i'll stick up some footage when its gets uploaded.
i imagine that 4 skins show will be pretty sketchy in a good way haha!
there will no doubt be some 'characters' attendance.
good site for uk shows here www.aloneinacrowd.co.uk although it looks like it hasn't been updated recently.
july 25th Trapped Under Ice are playing the Underworld with Terror.
I'm not a huge fan but love TUI and it should be a good show.
