This means that I am another step closer to my degree. Hard question for me to answer. I want both. It's a matter of me getting in were I fit it. I will not rule out Law Enforcement and I am working out to make that a option. However, my degree is Middle childhood education- English and History. All I know is I want to make one of those options a reality quick.

One thing is sure Police will never use Algebra.

A cousin of mine is a sheriff's deputy in Houston. From what I understand law enforcement doesn't really care what you have a degree in as long as you have one.

this is my very limited understanding, too. college degree is typically just a necessary but otherwise irrelevant qualification. "criminal justice" is usually a bullshit major, which is why so many cops have it... could be cool, but usually just the required qualification.

So, honestly, the education degree is probably best, since it should qualify you for both jobs.

Any chance you can do teaching full-time and some sort of volunteer or citizen's patrol or ride along stuff? Probably a good balance that let's you decide which path you'd prefer. I mean... teaching kids is a bit different from busting bad guys. :)
