I haven't posted in forever.
Does anyone on here remember me? I don't think I ever made much of a contribution but I'll be around a bit more.
I've been working in South Africa and West Australia for the last 10 months but I gave it the ass, now I'm a full time pleb.
What have I missed out on since ... probably middle of 2008? Can someone give me a quick wrap up? Whats been released that I might have missed or
whats some shit I need to check out?

I remember you. Not much changes here so you should be able to slide right back in.

Hey man, welcome back. Same old same old.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

like discipline said, not much has changed, but you should be able to get right back in.
what were you doing in south africa and where are you now?
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

New stuff? Probably nothing noteworthy. The newest thing I picked up was probably the last Mark Lind and the Unloved album.
Definitely search for threads where people put up some overlooked gems, though. The Angels, Saints, and Heroes EP is a good example of something
great that I didn't know about before.

Welcome back. Like everyone said, nothing's changed 'round these parts. Just shoot the shit with the rest of us... as usual.

What sort of work were you doing in South Africa?
Day of Contempt is back for the Earth Crisis tour but you probably know that already.

THORP has been low key for the past 6-8 months, if not longer. More activity happening these days with this - http://www.thorprecords.com/boards/viewthread.php?tid=13818
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
