rancid
Years of dissing them and I take your advice and buy a cd. I got the supposed worst one but I liked it. So I grab the first one and yes it is good.
Then I just picked up the self titled one and that one is very very good. Starting to really like this band a lot. 17 years after they got together.
Damn, I was a ignorant kid growing up.

Always have and always will love the band. Their first album is still my favorite.

Thought they were alright when they first came out, dealing with them face to face showed me they were self-important rock star assholes, lost all
interest in them and honestly wonder why anyone gives a shit about anything they've done. Even taking away the personal interaction, I'm just not
impressed by them in any way.

Tim met his now ex-wife Brody Dalle of The Distillers on tour when she was playing in her band Sourpuss. Although Tim was considerably older than her
and Dalle had lied about her age (she was 16), the two began dating and after two years were married. Dalle moved from her home in Melbourne to be
with her husband. It is said that the two were suffering for a while and even seeking marriage therapy when Dalle called it off over the phone and
issued a divorce in 2003. Soon after, photographs of Brody kissing Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme were published in Rolling Stone
Magazine. Armstrong, who claims he knew nothing of Dalle's relationship with Homme, said he broke down when he saw the photos. Dalle and Homme married
after the birth of their daughter, Camille Harley Homme in 2006. Armstrong has accused Dalle and Homme of adultery, and Homme received a series of
death threats from Armstrong's fans. The conflict has divided L.A.'s punk rock microcosm.

If I was was Homme I'd be less concerned about death threats from Tim's fans and more concerned about getting the shit kicked outta me by some of the
cats he and Lars run around with.
Also, the Distillers always sounded like a Rancid clone with a girl singing.

There were definitely some issues of that variety right around the time it happened.

The Distillers are to Rancid as Hole was to Nirvana. And I don't particularily care for any of those bands. I'd rather listen to Lars and the
Bastards.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?
