sworn enemy covering BLOOD FOR BLOOD
all fucked up. This band had 2 really good records but then lost its way in my opinion, but the cover is fucking awesome.

Do his vocals still sound like a bird being anally raped?

I actually think this new record and the last one are by far the best stuff this band has ever done. Totally stepped out on their own.

as real as it gets is really good but I lost interest when they really went off into the metal sound.

I think they make a much better band, ie the past 2 records, than they did doing hardcore. Really enjoy both records, where as their older stuff, I'd
just listen to BFB, Hatebreed, Madball, etc first if I wanted to listen to that style.

I've seen two other bands cover BFB in the past couple of years and both renditions sucked.

Seriously...you guys can actually listen to SE with those vocals? I've never heard screaming like that outside of horror movies.

No band should even attempt to cover BFB.

Not so good. I looked through the pictures, they all got long hair except Sal who's still bald. He's certainly taken the band down the metal path and
left behind those early albums.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

occasionally you get a cover thats better than the original, like Sepultura covering Symptom Of The Universe, or fuck, Blood For Blood covering Ace Of
Spades, but this is not one of those examples. Good tribute to a great band, but one listen was enough.

All fucked up was the first song I ever learned start to finish on the guitar. I don't like this cover of it. Bummer. I met SE when they first
started touring around the US. Great guys. They were very very cool

Well, if for some odd reason you ever wondered what BFB would sound like if Buddha recorded his lyrics right after putting his scrotum in a blender
and hitting the "on" switch, you now have your answer.

Skeleton Crew are doing a cover of Some Kind Of Hate in the coming weeks. Bulls MAY be doing Wasted Youth Crew/My Kind Belong Nowhere sometime in the
future. They will be awesome, getting fucking shitfaced while I record them for authenticity.

Death Before Dishonor did a BFB cover and I know it sounded good, don't remember the song, the fuckin PBRs stole my memory that night.

Those are also not good examples...in fact they fall well, well into the not good example category...were you being sarcastic? B4B better than
Motorhead...that doesn't even make sense in the world. The Sepultura cover is good but better than Sabbath....
help.

My opinion, I stand by it. Don't get me wrong, the originals are great songs, but they don't have the intensity or the punch of those covers.
Motorhead's one of my all time favorites, but in any given situation I got the choice between listening to a Motorhead cd or a Blood For Blood cd, I'm
going with BFB.
