When it rains it pours...shit all over my floors.

Yeah, so... me and my gf are both on unemployment right now. She has been for a few months, me being newely unemployed. We were sitting around Monday night after me having been out of work for the past week and started talking about being in the house too much with nothing to do since we need to watch our money BIG time so we were givin a reason to get out of the house...

Basement condo with a backed up sewer line = everyones morning showers and shits on our floor. Yeah... About 1 - 2 inches of shitty pissy bath water all over the condo floor. We had servpro come out and clean it, remove all the nasty shity, took out some drywall, all the baseboards, some carpet, all the linoleum, etc... FUN! This happened tuesday morning and there had been 8 industrial fans and heaters in the place to dry it out until yesterday afternoon so we were staying at one of Erikas friends houses. Our 3 cats are still at her friends house because all the shit is still removed but exposed floors, drywall, insulation. They are going to start repairs tuesday so we still have tons of reasons not to be in the house coming up.

start going letterboxing....its free, gets you out to cool places nearby, like hiking and treasure hunting altogether. I've found a couple hundred but haven't gone in awhile. Kinda like the poor man's geocaching. I use atlasquest. Just type in your location to see where some are. Letterboxing is like an underground cult. Very secretive.

be sure to bring a compass with you...some clues require one. one of the coolest ones I've done was in a cemetary and the clues were based around names on gravestones.

Nice! I want to create some. Sounds like pointless fun!

I have been there with my old home. It did that 3 times before we sold it. This is all after I finished it off too. It was a nightmare. That is a good company though that you have cleaning it. They even guaranty the disinfection as well.
