one of my old bands got to open for fear in austin and lee begged us to go on tour with them...
but we could only find fill in temp. drummers so it didn't happen,
still one of the proudest moments of my rock and roll past.

Kevin Lyman is coming to my festival in Nov this year to pick a band to do 4 dates on the Warped Tour 2010. All I can say is that he's a cool mother fucker who is all about music.

Tour looks bad ass this year. As he was saying to me he books a lot of the younger bands to pull in the kids so he can expose them to the good shit he grew up with. He's like a record store guy who is tricking kids into buying decent records instead of drivel.

The tour has pretty much gotten bigger every year (attendance-wise) so I'm not sure why you'd be surprised.

I'll be going this year. Some bands I really want to see and some that I'll avoid like the plague but a decent size group of my friends are going so why the hell not?
