Wayne Scott
If you guys haven't checked out Wayne Scott I suggest you get on it real quick. Great country music in the vein of Hank Williams and Johnny Cash.
I heard an interview with Wayne and his son Darrel on Fresh Air last Friday and knew I had to get the album for my dad. He got the cd in the mail
today, and he told me that he absolutely loves it.

can't say i've heard any of his stuff, i am very familiar with his son's music though. he's written some incredible songs, like this one:

When I saw that post all I could think was "Wayne Seagal - Legend Porshe & Audi" Gavin will get that joke... not sure who else will though.

Find the record, buy it on iTunes. Do whatever you can. It's great. Darrell does some stuff on it too. Hell, most of the album was recorded in his
living room.
