What are all you toolbags doing for the 4th of july?

Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

A buddy of mine picked up a shitload of fireworks. Going to drink beer, blow stuff up and wonder who will hurt themselves first.

Celebrating Canada Day a few days late as well as having my farewell party as I'm moving from Adelaide to Brisbane in a couple weeks. One last chance to hang out with the people I've met and worked with here over the past 4.5 years.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Its a kids weekend and I'm stoked. The kids, my girl and I are headed to a friends, then my relatives, then to Hershey for the fireworks. My oldest son got some fireworks that are banned in PA so I'm looking forward to setting that shit off. This is my girls favorite holiday so its gotta be good.

humming the song 'MERICAN by the Descendents in my head all day.

going to a BBQ that i dont want to go to because one of my good friends is back from Texas to visit and its at his dads house. Problem is that other 'friends' that I really dont care to see will be there too. Its all my own issues at this point, but its still tough to get past.
