wedding I went to this weekend....
I went to a wedding on Saturday and it was one of the most jaw dropping events I've been to in a long time.
My roommates Aunt was married twice, once to a black guy and once to a white guy. She had kids with both husbands. This wedding was for the black son
(a kind of 'gangsta' thug looking guy who has been arrested multiple times) and the white son (a total white trash balding guy with a mustache who I
think seriously smokes crack) was the best man.
I'll just give you a run down of some of the hilights....
- The wedding was in the hall of a private Italian mens club. The ceramony including a walk down the 'aisle' and the reception was all in the same
room. (I have nothing negative to say about this because I'm sure it was done this way to keep to a budget, I'm just trying to set the scene).
- The ceramony started late (more on that later) but once it started it was a pretty normal ceramony, heavy on the Jesus stuff. Lots of brides maids,
1 of the couples 4+ children was the ring bearer. Most of the brides maids were on the large side with one easily being 400+. Bride in white with red
accents, brides maids all in red dresses, groom in a white tuxedo with white pattent leather shoes, ushers in black suits.... one wearing a 'doo-rag'
- While the ceramony was going on the mother of the bride was in the back sitting at the table furthest away from the bride & groom and she was
talking to someone through out the entire thing with the exception of during the kiss when she started booing.
- After the "I Do's" the wedding party walked out of the room and went outside to the parking lot (I think to take pictures) and then were introduced
as they walked back in about 1/2 an hour later.
- During this time some of the kids in the family started setting up the food. They had aluminum pans sitting in wire racks so there could be heaters
under them. They put all the food in, but no heaters.
- They also had a drink fountain that they set up. The kind that has a bowl at the bottom and sucks up the liquid from the bottom and it flows down
over 2 other levels before ending up in the bottom bowl again. Once this was assembled 2 kids came walking in both carrying gallon jugs of Hawaiian
Punch which they used to fill the fountain.
- About a half hour later when they decided to serve (let people serve themselves) the food they put the sterno cans under the aluminum foil pans.
Perfect timing, lets warm up that food that is now cold right when its time to eat! After about 30 out of 60 people took food it was all gone, but not
before one of the foil pans caught fire.
- Heres the hilight of the day.... The reason things started late was because while the groom and his brother (best man) were on the way to the
wedding they got pulled over for speeding. The cop pulled them out of the car and after running their IDs came back to the car. The best man said
"We're on our way to his wedding" and the cop said "No youre not!" Aparently the brother had a warrent and he was arrested. He called his father
because they wouldnt let him out without $800 in cash (no checks, no credit cards). So his father proceded to walk around the wedding trying to borrow
money from everyone. Eventually he got enough and the brother showed up to the wedding about 2 hours late.

Reminiscent of the Spears/Federline affair.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

IPHONE IS RIGHT. WHY NO PICTURES?

I didnt actually take any pictures myself because I didnt know the people and didnt want to make it obvious that I was taking pics to make fun. Those
are pictures my roommate took.
