BRUNO

I saw it.... I laughed a lot.... not as funny as Borat, but still pretty damn funny.

I don't find that guy or any of his characters even remotely funny. I can't understand how so many people love this guy, I just don't see the appeal.

I beleive it was Latoya not Janet if I'm not mistaken. Thats what I heard at least. But no its not in there. They talked about that in some interviews I heard so its not really a spoiler. I dont even know what the footage was about.

when we got there the theatre was empty so we picked seats and sat. next group was 2 people and they sit in the front of upper section (4 rows in front of us).

Then 4 more people come in, talk to the 2 people up front and convince them to move.... RIGHT IN FRONT OF US when the entire rest of the theatre is empty and we had our feet up. They proceded to sit withtout turning around or saying anythign even though we still had our feet up.

We got up and moved back 1 row and started talking about how unnessicary what they did was in a pretty loud voice, but they still didnt turn around. Then a theatre employee is talking to them about how the movie sucks and blah blah blah.... they still sit there. Movie starts, about 15-20 minutes in they got up and left.... assholes!

Yeah Josh...youre right..

JUst came back from it. I think what was lost was that we could sympathize and almost empathize with a hapless...but sweetly innocent foreigner who didnt know any better.....aka Borat.

Unfortunately Bruno lacked that innocence which is why I felt it wasnt as enjoyable as Borat.....but still and laugh riot....

Oh and everyone in the theatre with us was a doosh bag "yad00d" chewing tobacco and wearing way too much smell-a-like Polo.

after the movie I went in the bathroom and a kid is in a stall sitting talking on the phone. He flushes, comes out, doesnt wash his hands and as he walks by I hear him say "at the movies.... saw Bruno.... Borat was better... this was just a bunch of faggot bullshit"

What did he expect!? He didnt see any trailer for it!?!

Really? Even in an empty theatre? I wouldnt have had the 'nerve' to sit right in front of someone in an empty theatre at a movie that definitly wouldnt sell out.

personally, no, i wouldn't sit directly in front of someone else in an empty theater.
but if i did choose to, it's my right to sit my paid-for ass in that available seat.
unless you bought one ticket for the seat and one ticket for the stool, get your feet down.

you ever ride public transportation like amtrak?
same shit every day.
there's a center isle with two seats on either side.
NO ONE traveling alone wants anyone else to sit next to 'em.
so what do they do?
put their bag in the other seat (or sit in the isle seat and pretend to be asleep)
unless you bought a ticket for that bag, move that shit so people can sit down!

totally understandable and I understadn what you mean about the train thing too. The comparision with the train & movie would be if a car had a bunch of empty seats and you purposly sat next to someone you didnt know.

:thumbup::thumbup:

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

It is in their right I cant argue that, I guess I was just more focused on what an asshole move it was. Plus the fact that 6 people paid to see a movie ($10.50 each), over a week after it was realeased and obviously had so little clue what it was about that they walked out 20 minutes in. I hope they didnt get their money back!

Saw it on Saturday night and I loved it.
Better than BORAT? Ehhhh no, not really, but just as good and def. more offensive than BORAT.

If you are the slightest bit uptight, or homophobic DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE.

I thought it was funny as hell, even the staged parts were still fun to watch. Sacha Baron Cohen is great character actor. He really gets into these roles. Its amazing.
