KISS
I saw them play last night and it was fucking incredible. They played for over 2 hours and there was not a dull moment. Rocked all their hits and tons
of other amazing songs that I was not expecting them to play. There was fire, smoke, blood, and thing blowing up all over the place. Theses fuckers
know how to rock. Amazing.

i saw them three times . first on their 96 reunion, then on their 3d tour and last year with the new line up and i must say all three shows were some
of the best entertainment i always saw on a stage. as mm said they have everything a metal heart wants.
i hope they make it to europe again in the future.

I love KISS and they have been amazing everytime I've seen them (even the non-makeup era). I would still see them and enjoy it, but I bums be out that
they have other people dressed as Peter & Ace. I know they are 'characters', but the bottom line is that people dont think "The Catman" and "The Space
Ace" they think of Peter Criss and Ace Frehley.

Never got into em.

One of the greatest bands in rock history...From s/t through Love Gun...there isn't a whole lot of other bands to release 6 extremely solid albums
back to back.
I can't think of any.

they played God Of Thunder when my son's tournament baseball team took the field on sunday......it was funny and cool at the same time.
I dig a bunch of their songs, but would never call myself a fan

Great example of style over substance. I don't hate Kiss, and I appreciate the spectacle of the live show. But take away all that and their music was
never really that good.

The "reunion" tour I saw in 1999 (I think) was the greatest live show I have ever been too. I still have KISS 8 tracks at my parent's house.
The Gene Simmons face album was my very first album. I think it was Christmas '78 or '79. I also got a Winnie The Pooh watch.

depends on who you're asking...are they technically skilled? no. But their music is fucking awesome too me.
Also, I'm currently reading the Kiss biography called Unmasked which is an officially sanctioned book and I definitely care less about Peter and Ace
being in the band...especially Peter. They had a lot of chances to not be drunken jack offs so they could remain in Kiss but they repeatedly fucked
it up.

Certainly no offense meant to you guys that like them, just my two cents. I might be an opinionated asshole but that certainly doesn't mean I expect
anyone to feel the same way. It's certainly nothing to do with technical ability. The Ramones are certainly one of my favorite bands. Nobody would
ever accuse them of being a prog band . There were just many better
rock and roll bands in the 70s (Saints, Rose Tattoo, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Heartbreakers, Real Kids, Dead Boys, Sex Pistols, etc etc). And none of those
bands wrote "I was made for loving you"

I read "KISS and Make Up" which is Gene's book. If you can get past all the "I'm so great and here's why" stuff from Gene it is a really good read.
I want to for sure read Unmasked too.
