Recommend me music pleeeeease!
So, im attempting to sort out my ipod, i have so much stuff on there i never listen to and find myself listening to the same few albums over and over.
I like most music genres, i just get bored with stuff easily.
Anyone who thinks there is something worth checking out that i may not have heard let me know! Any kind of music at all.
Im a young'un so im pretty sure a lot of people on here must know some shit i've never heard.
Thanks!

Get the new DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR like yesterday.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Aren't you mostly into hip-hop and hardcore these days? Are you looking for stuff in that vein you haven't heard, or a different genre?
I've been listening to a lot of early GG Allin, along with the occasional acoustic stuff he did. Been on the bus for way too many hours in the last
two days with my iPod on autofill (I have a crappy Shuffle)... Badlands, H20, Pressure Point, Ducky Boys (the second half of Three Chords...) and
various viking rock have all made me smile. And some NWA!

Yes i listen to a lot of hardcore and old hiphop but i pretty much listen to anything and have a lot of random shit on my ipod, alot of classical
music, acoustic guitar stuff, country, old rock/metal, drum n bass, soul, even pop music, as i say, im into a lot of different stuff and always
looking for something new i might like whatever the genre.
haha i do slightly recall your suprise when looking at what was on my ipod and seeing the amount of hiphop on there!

Old outlaw country is good, especially if you want to see the roots of punk rock. Hank, Waylon, Willie, Cash, and tons I'm not mentioning. I really
dig the acoustic GG stuff, even if the guy was a total shitbag. Throw in some Chet Atkins, too.
Any 1950s rock you should try and make some recommendations. I've always wanted to hunt down some Buddy Holly but never did.
Metal - I'd say shit like old Suicidal Tendencies (Join the Army, Lights Camera...) and old Testament.
Viking rock is really good for a mix of classical-type stuff mixed with rock/punk. I dig it. Check out Ultima Thule or Hel. Several of those bands
get sketchy lyrically, but that might only matter if you understand them (and I don't).
And I'm not sure it was the hiphop on the ipod... it was probably taking me and George's "friend" to the hiphop show.

I've got a load of Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley and some other stuff, my mum listens to a lot of 50's rock and roll these days so must i heard
through her, but shes also the person that got me into a lot of real old punk/ska and metal stuff too when i was growing up.
hey there was nothing wrong with that hiphop show! and George is now happily married to her 'friend' and ran back to South Africa with him.....or,
maybe she just never actually heard from him ever again after that night...haha

share the buddy holly, chuck berry, and bill haley!!!
and i seriously thought that georgina stalked him to s. africa until i finished the sentence. poor girl. but she's not a whore. she even said so.
so i'll re-recommend badlands (dutch on rebellion records, i think) as really good. i can pass along some stuf if you want. discipline is great,
too. that's why soultamer is such a letdown, since both of those band are great and they make up soultamer, which ain't so good.
and old gansta rap is good too, before it became "cool"

Pretty much anything from the 60s Stax catalogue is pretty good- specifically Carla Thomas, Otis Redding and Sam and Dave.
