I jogged 2.5 miles today.

First time I have ever done that in probably 15 years. It feels good to accomplish something. No matter how major or minor it just feels good.

That's awesome! I started running again maybe a year and a half ago after not having run in over 10 years. I couldn't even run a mile without walking. Now I'm a bit better and I signed up for a half marathon in October. We'll see how that goes.

What is a half marathon? Like 12 miles or so? That's Forest Gump territory bro.

Congratulations. Remember, it's not the intensity of any one workout, it's the frequency of working out.

A half marathon is 13.1. The longest I've run so far in my training is 7.5. I'm working my way up there. I won't be ashamed to walk some during the race either. I just wanna finish.

^^^^^^^^ I have never been apart of something like that but from what I've heard is most people break in some fashion. Weather it be a walk or plain stop for a bit. A good friend of mine is doing this Chicago marathon/triatholon. Its like a urban thing of some sorts. He did it last year and liked it so much he's training for this years right now. I can't compete at that level right now but it would be kick ass to do that. Its advertised in mens health magazine.
