ever had a bank account just "disappear"?

because i just did. and i don't mean no money in it. i mean the account no longer shows up on my online banking at all, as if it doesn't exist. i'm feeling all of these right now: :grind: :wow: :sniffle:

banks make mistakes all the time. Call the custmomer service asap and get to a branch as soon as you can (once they open obviously) and they can probably fix whatever is wrong!

i did, apparently my account sat without activity for 3 months. the problem was that i deposited $900 dollars into it moments before it was scheduled to be closed... anyway, i got my money back, but it took 5 days and alot of phone calls and going into the branch.

yes, then no, then yes again. :puzzled:

it's my UK bank account, since that became the primary account while i was over there. used it once back in the US, and then it disappeared from my online banking and my debit card wouldn't work. called them at 4am our time (when the local branch opened in london) and got it worked out... probably just frozen because of a strange international withdrawal for a large sum. fixed. same problem happened again this morning, and i had to call again.

can't ruin my day though... mailed off the thesis yesterday, received my visa today, and flying to florida on thursday (booked ticket today) to visit the family before going back to europe on the 20th.
