Continuous? That's a huge feat, if so. I couldn't have done that in my prime when I was on the swim team in high school. Of course, I was a diver and not so much a swimmer... but I could hold my own in a race when I was called on.

I love swimming, I need to get back into a pool. I haven't been since June, and that was a hotel pool. My mother-in-law got us VIP passes to LA Fitness and they've got a pool. I should go... tomorrow, since I'm not working.

ok well there are obviously muscles that I haven't used in a while and now I'm up at 4 am while they protest vigorously against swimming in general.
So tomorrow.. less swimming more walking.

Anyone ever been in one of those really small pools with the constant motion so you can swim in place? They look cool.

I wish I could go swimming as I loved doing it as a kid, but now I'd get kicked out for being the only wholly mammoth in the pool. I hate being hairy. :(

I just opened my pool up this year!! Swimming is so relaxing after a long day at work. My pool is 32 feet long, so I would have to do 165 laps to swim 1 mile. I am up to 15-20 right now.......

Good for you and keep up the work. Swimming is one of the best ways to stay in shape and improve on what you have. It works every muscle in you're body and is a great cardio workout as well. All you have to do is keep at it and I am sure you will be more then happy with the results both mental and physical.
