Nice dudes too, they played the business show with us. People give them shit for the religious stuff. But they were not preachy when we played with
them.

Flatfoot 56 is good have both of their albums, I heard they are a Christian band but to be honest I don't hear it in any of their songs, and its
definitely not preachy if its there. Definitely check them out, and honestly if they make good music who gives a fuck if they are religious.
Well I've got a feeling I'm gonna get mine in. Retribution let the games begin.

I think if a band feels the need to proclaim themselves a religious band as opposed to just having their own religious views then that fits the
definition of being preachy in my book. Just like the people who can't have their religious views without making everything they're involved with be
involved with those views. Honestly, these guys aren't nearly impressive enough for me to get past that bullshit.

Seen them 3 times don't remember them ever preaching about their religion. Good guys to, met the kid Josh who plays bagpipes, he's a good guy, and
they put on a good show to.

bands that declare themselves as being religious have instant access to the christian market sales. its a massive audience too. we toured with a band
long ago that played to hundreds of people daily on the religious circuit. they couldn't draw anyone on the "secular" circuit but they tried. it's
like being a straight edge band. did you guys ever notice how straight edge bands go from absolute obscurity to relative fame overnight? they have an
audience that subscribes to the concept so straight edge bands get instant access to it. its the same for the christian bands.
that all being said, I don't care so much about the religious aspect as I can't stand the celtic thing anymore. I will listen to dkm and flogging
molly but that sound has otherwise run its course for me.

I always wondered how the celtic thing got so big, i mean Dropkicks are great but i have kind of felt they were getting too celtic. At the sametime
they are about as big a punk band as there is out there, and they deserve it, but there does seem to be a disproportionate amount of celtic/irish
bands.

I give them credit for all the touring they do. It seems like they are alway's on the road. I have booked them a few times in Boston and they seem to
be nice guys. The first time I booked them they had their father on tour with them. I think 3 out of the 4 members are brothers. But I could be a
little off!!! I heard they where holy rollers but they never preached to me!!
