Whats the XL fit like? Is it a big XL? I got a DROPKICK MURPHYS shirt that fits like a XXL that I never wear. If anyone wants it I'll sell or trade it.

That being said I want this NEVER GIVE IN shirt.

I missed it, tell it again :D

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

This Is Hardcore was awesome, but exhausting. I honestly don't know how peeps do multiple two and three day fests every year. I barely got through one day!

The Thorp table was in a great spot, on the floor, but near the entrance. Basically every time someone came or went (in and outs were allowed), they walked past our table. (And we were able to see the entire show from where we were.) We met a lot of cool people, sold a ton of CDs and shirts and gave away countless stickers, download cards as well as a bunch ot Never Give In shirts. (We were selling the NGI shirts, but also giving them away to anyone who spent $20 or more.)

It was great being able to see so many bands I've never seen before all at once. My Turn To Win played a great set during which kids were stompin' their hearts out. Pulling Teeth was much better than the last time I saw them. Mother of Mercy is a current favorite of mine.

We owe a big thanks for everyone in My Turn To Win and their main merch man, Justin, for manning the table all weekend.

For those of you who are interested... these are the dropcards.
Full color, plastic, business card size.
You go to the URL, enter the code, then download the songs.
For you collectors, this is officially known as "Never Give In: Thorp Records Digital Sampler, Fall 2009"
