Hell, yeah, I love message board meetups!
Hard to believe she was literally in my town, so dinner had to happen.
Very proud of Furly for trying the scrapple at The Gap Diner!
(and Juan, I have to tell ya... it was prepared perfectly...proper crispy on the outside!)

sounds like a great trip so far; glad to are you two are having a good time.
have a safe drive home.

Great trip!

Monday and Tuesday we did all we could do in Hershey.

Wednesday we ventured into Gettysburg and did all the good stuff, wax museum, a couple of tours of houses, and a ghost story thing.

Thursday we started out with a small motorcycle museum, then to York for the Harley factory tour. after that off to Armish country for a buggy ride (where I totally got hit on by the Armish dude), neat little country store, then grub with BD, the Scrapple wasn't bad (don't know that I would pair it with a chocolate milkshake anytime soon) then off to The Red Caboose, which was this awesome little place that you actually sleep in a caboose. It had a petting zoo, playground, and a movie playing outside on an old white barn. I got some moosho pie (?) for desert, holy yummy! I'm going to try to find a recipe and make is sometime, good stuff!

Today I had planned on making a few stops on the way home, but with all the weather warnings I decided against it, except ofcourse for The Waffle House, a must do on any roard trip which involves going within 50 miles of one. The entire way I was followed by black clouds, but didn't get hit. Got home about a half hour ago and it's already pouring.

And now I'm back out the door headed to the beach. Those of you on the facebook have probably seen the random pics I put up, but real ones will be up within a couple days.

"Elizabeth, this is the big one!"

planned on just having a shake...
a little appetizer before dinner with my family later that evening.
but as furly had never had scrapple, I had to do what i had to do.
