The ending was great, the season as a whole needed a few more episodes or something. I feel cheated.

Alot of the season seemed just to be a rehash of old ideas. I felt like they could have expanded a bit more with some of the characters.

^^^^^^^^^^^ The season was over a summer long. Longer than normal. However the season was not as eventful as previous ones, but the ending was crazy.
I saw and interview with the creator and he stated the show will go on for 2 more seasons until the September 11th ten year anniversary. Then its
done. So who knows were it goes now. I would think Leary's character continues on and the chick from ER will stay.

I am glad they have an end date set. I think the Shield had its best seasons once they decided when it would be over. I'm kind of torn as to whether
Tommy should die and haunt someone else or live and find out Jimmy is Colleen's dad.
Maura Tierney kicks ass, I think her character should have been brought in earlier in the season. Lou's hooker wife was a waste of time too, although
wrapping the storyline up made sense. I'm starting to like the Black Shawn character he developed a lot toward the end of this season.

Ya Balck Shawn was a terribel character and still is when he is talking about Tommys daughter and trying to make him out to be super-oneof theguys
type shit. But when he isnt playing that confused guy in love shit he is a good character. The Lou's girlfriend/wife shit is total suckage. Stupid
character to bring back.

this is probably my favorite show on television...but I have just not felt as connected to the show since Jerry died. He was one of my favorites. I
like the comedy, but really enjoy when they delve into the sorrows in everyones lives and the effects it has. I feel like the juxtaposition of the
sorrow-filled story lines and the comedy is great, but this season was too heavily weighted on the comedy

I agree. The comedy of Sheila- which was hit and miss. The comedy of Tommy and wife- kind of weak because she was better as a bitch. The new bar and
shit was good stuff.
