New Raised Fist

This album is quite something. Shit is heavy and fast and a great album to rock out to. If you liked them before you will love this shit.

Check it.

Ya people seem to be one way or the other on those. I like them on there and they look crazy when the car is rolling. You are not the first person to tell me that though.

Its like Knight Rider on roids.

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Back to the original subject, I listened to one of the songs on myspace and wasn't feeling it. If the album throws back to the old albums rather than the previous one then I'll be into it for sure.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Didnt know they had a new one out or coming out... Huh.

Will definitely check it out. Wish they would have toured the states where they were in canada a year or two ago.

They were here in Brisbane tonight but for whatever reason I just wasn't interested in tracking down a ticket & sitting on a train an hour each way to go see them at the last minute. I'll probably regret it if they break up but I imagine they won't be doing that any time soon.
