SGR is psyched to welcome STITCH HOPELESS & THE SEA LEGS
Sailor's Grave Records is thrilled to announce the signing of Arizona's STITCH HOPELESS AND THE SEA LEGS: an American workin' class psychobilly band with punk and Oi! influences. Trashy, disturbed
punk-brewed psychobilly from the bleak desert landscape of Phoenix; this is voodoobilly punk rock for kids who threw their lives away long ago. A
perfect sonic discovery for fans of Demented Are Go!, Frantic Flintstones, Misfits, Hank III and GWAR.
The explosively visceral Gone Bats will be hitting stores October 13th. View the cover art (by tattooist Aaron Coleman) and
download the MP3 for "Trash Like Me" here:
http://www.sailorsgraverecords.com/artist.php?id=stitchhopel...
The band is currently finishing up a west coast tour with England's KEYSIDE STRIKE.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Gotta be honest, I'm not feeling it.

Not a fan of psychobilly as well... Psychobilly bands are pretty fun to see live though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the recent Thorp cd's only get released digitally? I don't want to keep asking this stupid question if you guys are
pressing all the SG stuff on CD and releasing it digitally.

Not a stupid question at all...
MOST releases from both labels will be physical and digital.
All the SGR releases we've announced to date will be CD & digital download.
Might do vinyl for KON.
Of the recent Thorp signings:
- Reaching Hand - first release digital EP w/ Euro vinyl by the band; then CD/digital full length
- Bulldog Courage - digital initially, CD early next year
- My Turn To Win - first release digital EP from us, vinyl from band; then CD/digital full length
- Refuse Resist & 20 Bulls Each - CD/digital
- Powerpoint - digital EP
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

THERE we are!
haha!
I know psychobilly isn't the most popular genre among our regulars.
I'm stoked on stitch, though.
Their shows are fucking hyper.

See, I was going to order this cd but then found out it wasn't a cd. If I am paying for music, I want the cd. Even if they just sit on a shelf.
I'll grab it when the cd is released.

I need to hear some more before I decide, track sounds decent. Bands need to steer away from that chord progression though!

I love psychobilly, I just didn't like anything about that track.

I could see a live show getting me a bit more into 'em, but I'm not really digging that track at all. I think I remember getting hit up by them on
myspace a while ago and not being too impressed then either, but I find Psychobilly stuff really hit or miss for me and those vocals are a bit too
much for my taste.

Yeah, I just can really only handle those kind of vox in Demented Are Go, nobody else really pulls it off and I wish other bands would figure out
something else to try instead of rehashing one man's style.

I hear a little Kings on Nuthin' in there. I will have to hear more songs but "Trash Like Me" sounded pretty good. And there is only 1 KON!!!

Agreed but that won't stop people from trying.
I'd be curious to hear this band's whole album and I will probably pick it up.

This is why I liked Tiger Army so much from the start. I know they get alot of flak for being too commercialy appealing and not being "psychobilly"
enough but the fact of the matter is they took a genre that inspired them and did something original within it. Haters always hate innovation

As far as these guys, they are middle of the road, not bad, but not great. pretty formulaic really. I have the first album, I listen to it here and
there. That new Kings album is going to be the bees knees though!

Stuffin' Coffins didnt convince me on these guys...but this one, Gone Bats, has. Give this whole album a spin when it comes out and it will certainly
distinguish vastly form Stuffin'.
