in-laws or soon to be

This may seem disrespectful but this is how i feel

It seems no matter what i do... my boyfriends mother always has a smart ass/ ignorant comment to say about anything i do. She's a total bitch but the rest of his family is awesome though:)

Believe me, I can relate wholeheartedly. Do what I do, ignore the cocksuckers.

Here's view from the other side of a diffrent situation: My brother is living with what I believe is his second horror show. They came here to visit for two days and she was selfish, annoying, ignored my mom's birthday, and kept criticising him for everything.

The last one was trying to alientate us so she could better get him to support her, while she was too lazy to even pursue the child support she was due for her two kids he probably took better care of than anyone will in their lives.

My mom and I tend to chill out about it and don't nitpick. If I think I have valid concerns my brother isn't seeing and I think it will be constructive to talk to him about it, I talk to HIM. If there were a real issue with you, she should talk to her son like an adult. Otherwise, I know it sucks to live with, but it's her problem and not yours, so don't take it personally.

I'd like to update this by saying that i'm actually getting along with my boyfriends mother (the good catholic) now.
It took awhile and we had a few confrontations... but... i think it's gonna be alright.
