New Hatebereed?
Anyone heard this album. I think these guys need to call it quits or make some drastic changes. They have not done anything to memorable since
Perseverance, and are becoming a real bore. There are a few songs on the album that are stand out and I would suggest, but as a whole album this is
not that good.

Hatebreed hasn't used a "new" riff since Under The Knife.

ahaha damn I forgot all about these guys.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

I just listened to the new Hatebreed. I love their Beatles-esque vocal harmonies.

The more metal looking their album covers get the less I'm interested.

I was listening to Hatebreed last night. "Satisfaction is the Death of Desire".... it's like they came up with some magic ability to give people
exactly what they wanted on that CD.

i remember being bitterly disappointed with Satisfaction... because it just sounded so clean.
It was only when I saw them live for the first time I really gave it a chance.
Under The Knife is just so raw and messy sounding.
i love how the drum mix is all over the place. Gives it that shifty edge.
all their other shit just sounds like machinehead or something.

I never heard Under the Knife. I did see them live once before Satisfact was released. Jamey was fat. Now he's skinny.

obviously that new guitar player is good and they really went for the metal tip huge this time. I like the new record and the lyrics are on point but
some of the tunes are a bit weaker and more metal.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Under the Knife is nothing but the sound of broken glass cymbals...
Satisfaction is good, and the beginning of the record just hits you in the face and lets you know that it's fucking ON, and it never lets up.
Perseverance and Rise of Brutality have some strong tracks too, but nothing quite like Satisfaction.
