Alice in Chains

Anyone with me on the new CD? This thing is friggen awesome. Way exceeded my expectations.

But here is a link from the old days that someone just sent me. It has a bunch of demos from 1989 and some live tracks as well.

you guys listen to some serious crap...

and,I mean CRAP.

Then, again, you guys wrote a dissertation on the merits of the last Guns'n'Roses lp...

I'm glad I don't have any of you for an upstairs neighbor.

Alice in Chains?

Really,mo?

you keep your fantasies to yourself...I'll stay in Bushwick, where the large black woman sits in her truck and blasts Arthur Conley,James Brown, and Percy Sledge at full volume.

What's good then? Maybe we just need to be pointed in the right direction.

I'll admit that I'm biased towards old soul/r'n'b/and reggae...everyone can listen to whatever the hell they want...I just cannot stand ANY of the crap "rock" that came out in the late 80's thru 90's,and the resurgence in the Ought's...

Unfortunately, the only direction I can point to without wincing is backward...not exactly "progressive",but the "progress" I've heard/seen just flat out STINKS.
