I fuckin love these 2 bands
If Tomorrow Comes from Ottawa. I've been listening to the EP non stop for a week, the only time I don't listen to it is when I am listening to
Where It Begins by 25 Ta Life. I put these dudes on my Merauder/Ringworm show last Sunday in Toronto because the song Retaliate made me cum in my
pants even if I just busted a nut 5 minutes before. And when they played live, holy fuck. Best opening band I have ever seen.
And the other is A Day And A Deathwish from Welland. These dudes have been awesome since they were a metalcore back in 2002 without a 2nd guitar player playing
infront of 10 people. Now they have a full line up, just did a cross country tour solo & put out their own debut full length. Another band I put on
the Merauder show, also toured with Blacklisted here in June and is going back out east this year, opening for Darkest Hour in October & all kinds of
other good stuff. They haven't even put out press kits yet and have a label or 10 interested, who knows how many at this point. Will be signed
before 2005 starts.
Check these 2 fucking bands out.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
