Biohazard (and other guilty pleasures)
I know they're goofy and over-the-top with their white boy gangsta shit but I love me some "Urban Discipline". Oddly enough, I also consider it to be
one of the worst quality recordings I've ever heard for such a popular release.
Today I'm on to "State of the World Address". Did anyone continue to follow these guys after that record? I never heard anything else.

the one after State of the World address, Mata Laeo, is ok, it's more punk than heavy/rap. The last record Means to an End is pretty decent, more
Urban Discipline style. The other 2 records they did are pretty bad.
I prefer the first 2 records and half of State of the World Address.

if you think that sounds bad check out the first Body Count album.
i gave it a listen for the first time in years the other and the production is fucking shocking.
as for biohazard, they have 2 good songs in my opinion.

Means to and End was the best album they did post Urban Discipline. I thought it was a fitting way to go out...but it seems they may record again
which will end in disaster.

I'm a big biohazard fan. If you like State Of The World Address, check out Means To An End.
The song "Each Day" on State of the World Address is possibly my favorite song of all time.

funny i always thought the production on Urban was crap too. I have the original roadrunner release and if i put it in the car and turn it all the way
up, it still sounds low........
they ahd a few good songs after that CD but no record was as solid all the way through

Mata Leo is fucking terrible. "I got a funky feeling something fresh is going down" get fucked Billy.
Urban Discipline, State of the world address and Means to an end are great fuckin records though. Production has never been their strong point though
in my opinion.

I got all of em. New world disorder just stay away from it. Other than that the rest are good. Especially MATA LEO. That is one kick ass record. YA it
has some really fucking corny lines and weak ass rap bullshit but the hardcore songs are some of the best they ever did. Fast as fuck.

Well generally shitty sounding records don't sell a million copies but this one did. But even as a free standing hardcore CD it still sounds like
shit. Some recordings are timeless where you can't put a finger on when it was recorded. This CD sounds like it was recorded in 1992. Sorta like how
you hear a Steve Winwood song from the 80's and you can hear how dated it sounds..... same thing here. I don't hear that same problem in Type O
Negative or Life of Agony or even early Madball that were recorded at the same time.
To me it's a special kind of shitty because I like a lot of records that sound bad. So to be the star on the top of a pile of shit is quite the
accomplishment.

I like pretty much every Biohazard record. Mata Leao (sp?) is the one I like the least.
