Hey D- a board suggestion...
I'd guess quite a few people just log into the site through the board...why not make that little Thorp/SGR logo at the upper left link to the label
site and not back to the board we're already on?

true. i rarely hit the front page anymore. usually, my browser recognizes that i'm going for the board and finished my typing, so i come right here.
oh, and sticky the new release threads!!!

first off, thanks for the suggestion. so much of what i do, especially with the thorp and sgr sites, happen in a total fucking vacuum.
these days, most people realize that clicking on a site's logo in the top corner will take you to the homepage, so i get what you're saying. but as
this board is the centralized home for two labels, it's a little tricky. personally, i ALWAYS click the "Thorp and Sailor's Grave Records" text in
the top left to go to the board homepage.
the other issue is that because this is off the shelf software (hence, the house icon!) , i'm somewhat limited in what i can do to customize it. i
mean, it is flexible and i could go apeshit and recode sections, but that's very time consuming and needs to be redone with every version upgrade.
i'm due to upgrade the software again, so i'll see if i can come up with something that allows users to get to the individual label homepages more
easily.

on the bar to get to the board home page. That's just a preference thing clicking one way or the other.
What made me think of this is seeing mention of new releases and not wanting to take the brain time to scan 40 thread titles since the board was quite
bust yesterday afternoon...and having no blatantly clear cut way to get there.
Though I suppose this is a completely nonsense suggestion in hindsight, because anyone coming here ONLY the majority of the time is a regular and
hardly the target advertising group lol.
