this must be a discussion you had while under the influence.
with yourself.

the older the clutch, the better.

Fully agree with BD. While I'm slowly coming around to some newer albums, I think the first seven inch is the best thing they ever did and Transnational is the best full length.

Maybe I was drunk but most of you thought old clutch rules all and the new stuff is not as good as the latter. However it wasn't terrible in all your eyes. My opinion as I have indoctrinated myself in CLUTCH music over the course of the this year. I have jammed it driving, jammed them running, jammed them chilling, rocked em out hanging and finishing drywall, painting and the such. I have spun everything except JAM ROOM, IMPETUS and the SLOW HOLE cd. As I have not picked em up yet. I personally feel the evolution of said band has much improved them in every sense.

It is not an understatement. Literally this year has been mostly CLUTCH.

Or a lady?

Living a life kept shut by a dream,
I'm reaching out to grasp my reality.
Hands of time wrap tight around my neck, and hit me so hard,
leaving me eyes black.
staring at a ceiling,
wondering why i never left,
penning words in a notebook,
wondering why haven't slept.
sanity is tapping in a cell
inside my fucking head.
begging for redemption
after hearing what was said.
the nights, they will not sleep
cause the days, have played for keeps.

yes the older the better...
they did progess as musicians
but that progression led to stagnation i think...
but I still like it...
