Even though i've lived in england all my life and listened to those guys since i was 17,i've never managed to see them live.

I kick myself about it.

You really should go and see them if you like heartfelt honest drunken beaten broken down heart warming intelligent punkrock sang with a growl a lion would be proud of because i reckon you'd like them.

Living a life kept shut by a dream,
I'm reaching out to grasp my reality.
Hands of time wrap tight around my neck, and hit me so hard,
leaving me eyes black.
staring at a ceiling,
wondering why i never left,
penning words in a notebook,
wondering why haven't slept.
sanity is tapping in a cell
inside my fucking head.
begging for redemption
after hearing what was said.
the nights, they will not sleep
cause the days, have played for keeps.

I need to get my hands on some of this. Based on BD and this post, sounds right up my alley.

Thanks boys. I'm scouring the interhighway now.

Leatherface is the shit.
Stubbs' voice is amazing.
They can pretty much do no wrong in my book.
(although I've heard mixed reviews of the last album, Dog Disco, which i don't yet own.)

I stocked up on their vinyl in London during the mid-90s.
The Eagle 7" remains one of my most prized records.
The Do The Right Thing EP has two amazing acoustic tracks on it.

Saw 'em once in the late 90s at Coney Island High in nyc.
I think it was their first US tour.
Went to see them the next day in New Brunswick, NJ, but there was a fire at the venue.

CR, if you're just checking them out, start w/ Mush.

I was working that day when thet played CIH,in NYC!!!

They were on tour with Hot Water Music - who were very nice guys, when I talked to them afterwards, but I was totally (am,still am) ignorant towards their music...And,some Italian HC band, where the singer was TOTALLY tattooed from head to toe,but had stage fright and sang from behind an amp!

Whoever was road managing Leatherface came to us (the security at CIH),and was asking where they could find any snuff (The real, ground tobacco shit - although,I could've got them the "other stuff",easier)..I pointed them to GEM SPA,and they were sold, undER duress from the clerk ("THIS IS SO OLD!! NO ONE BUYS THIS!!") what they were looking for...

Dog Disco is awesome. Don't listen to the Haters. I'd love to do a show for them in Halifax. They must have a french promoter as they're doing a few strange dates in Quebec that most bands wouldn't normally do.

Saw them Monday- great show. They ended up playing a last minute semi-announced bar gig again here tonight... but I passed it up for curry, poker and beer.

They were awesome. Man he looks like an old fisherman now haha. Opening bands were not great, but they sounded like a CD. Good combo of Mush and new stuff.

Me and Raymo just got back from Asbury Lanes, and have to say that they were great...I would've liked to hear a couple more songs from my own playlist, but I really can't complain...'Talked,briefly with Frankie and hooked him up with some JC stuff...I am sated...And,the late night White Castle's are only examplifying that !!!
