Either Steel Nation or H8INC, those are far and away the best two HC albums of last year. Every 10th or so play of those I throw in a random CD then
go back to those bad boys.

I have nothing new to report. Today I am painting the stairwell to my basement so it is Minor Threat/GCF/Stand and Fight.
I'm a little boring, but I'm cool with that.
Thanks for the links dudes, I'm going to check them out.

When it comes to hardcore I usually stick to the classics and only once in a while a new band catches my attention (Bulldog Courage and Refuse Resist
are the latest examples).
Anyway I've recently downloaded a demo by a band called Race Riot and I gotta tell you I'm blown away. Great mix of hc, Oi and punk with catchy
melodies and a healthy dose of aggro. Check'em out: http://www.myspace.com/raceriot59

I was never able to really get into H8inc. Always wanted to because I love the Detroit hardcore scene and their link to Cold As Life made me want to
support them. I recently got my hands on A Clockwork Misery and I can not stop listening to it, the album is amazing.

I would happily only ever listen to Burn and The Icemen on repeat but for the sake of getting with recent times-
Wisdom In Chains, Trapped Under Ice and Cold World are all ones i have been listening to a fair bit lately.

The horror show.
Living a life kept shut by a dream,
I'm reaching out to grasp my reality.
Hands of time wrap tight around my neck, and hit me so hard,
leaving me eyes black.
staring at a ceiling,
wondering why i never left,
penning words in a notebook,
wondering why haven't slept.
sanity is tapping in a cell
inside my fucking head.
begging for redemption
after hearing what was said.
the nights, they will not sleep
cause the days, have played for keeps.

yeah i'd never been a huge fan until we played with them and CAL a year ago or so. My old flatmate used to listen to them a lot so i knew the songs
but wasn't a huge fan either way. Then I heard A Clockwork Misery and it totally knocked me for six. Such a great album. I was playing it to some
friends of mine last week when we were all drunk and they were all wide eyed like: 'who the fuck is this again?!'
