this is our second storm of 2+ feet.
i don't mind, i don't have anywhere i need to be.
stocked up on bagels, scrapple, booze and steaks...
oh, and superbowl snacks.
i'm set.
shoveled out the driveway this morning...
drifts up to my waist in places.
the piles on either side of the drive are over 5 feet.
my kids are sick, so i helped the neighbor kids dig a tunnel through one of our snow piles.
good stuff.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

It was insane in my neck of woods for the first time all year. Its been tame until today and last night.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

if needed.

we got like 2-3 inches of snow here last weekend in NC, they cancelled public schools for 3 days. People down here were complaining about the snow.

Well I've got a feeling I'm gonna get mine in. Retribution let the games begin.

I'm in northeastern Pennsylvania and I feel the same way. This is the second time this year a monster storm came through and kicked the shit out of
everything south.

just in from clearing out the dregs the plow threw back in the driveway.
the snow piles are insane - some as tall as me (6+ft)
it was nice and sunny out this afternoon, so no problems, though.
all the neighbors are out and the kids are having a blast.
plus, i've been known to drink a couple garage beers while i shovel.
two long trail winter white double duces and a four or five victory lagers so far.
had a nice buzz all afternoon.
my wife's making some chili as i type, so things are only getting better from here.

I'm stuck in the sub tropics getting leftover rain from cyclone olga
I miss all the snow, before I left we had crappy winters with not much snow. Since I've left there's been a lot of crazy storms and big snowfalls
like when I was a kid.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
