Canada Vs. USA Hockey - Who's Watching?

I am not a big fan of Olympic hokcey but man they have really built up this game.

Right now it is 2-1 US after 1 period and Canada is out shooting 19-6.

Who's in?

Prediction- US 3-2 win if their Goalie stands on his head

I'm trying but the damn streaming off the CTV website doesn't work and the NBC one says I can't view it overseas.

:(

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Not only did Ryan Miller play an amazing game...but did you see that empty net goal? That was sick!

Meh atleast our Women's team will win gold, I'd be surprised if the men get any medal the way things have gone the past 2 games.

To many good teams in the field this year, it's like having 5 or 6 all star teams in 0ne tournament. Anybody could win it.

Very valid point.

One thing I noticed was the the speed of the all European games. End to end constantly. It's OK for a little while I really enjoy the violent side of the game (hit on Jagr excluded). It is easier for me to relate to since I'm not much of a finesse guy.

As expected, the women won gold. Can't say I hold the same hope for the men but they picked it up against Russia from what I've read in the news.

How about Jacques Rogge just hours before the womens final say that if other countries can't compete he'll dump women's hockey from the olympics? Before the game, not after. Talk about pissing on the match. The women raised a good point though, the 70's was purely Canada & USSR, nobody else came close. Other countries did pick up and now Sweden, Finland, USA and a couple others have been serious contenders & won. Womens hockey will eventually do the same.

Well channel 9 is doing Australia's free tv coverage and that doesn't start until 8am, 2 hours after the game starts, and they'll also cut much of the game for other coverage.

On Foxtel it starts at 7:10am after the Bronze medal game is on. I don't have it though.

Gonna try streaming from CTVOlympics.ca from work, which I should really get ready for now

2-1 Canada going into the 3rd. Channel 9 showed about 30 seconds 1 minute into the 1st period then I had to go catch the bus, by the time I got in the 2nd period was over.

I tried to connect to the CTVOlympics.ca stream in Firefox & IE but neither worked
