Any electricians here?

In my bedroom I had noticed my alarm clock re-setting, we thought it was just the power going out in the area. It has happened a few times this past week. We then realised we are just losing power in that one room. It happens, and then comes back on on it's own. I checked to see if there was anything loose plugged into the outlets and there is nothing. I know nothing about this shit so any ideas could help. I reset the breaker when it's off and that also does nothing, it justy comes back on when it wants to (usually within a few minutes soo far).

The fuse might need to be replaced.

The circuit breaker and fuse do the same job, just in two different ways. I get the terms confused alot. The individual breaker might just need to be replaced.

Either the breaker or it may be connected with another switch in a different room. Or if this is a apartment it may be connected/crossed with another residence all together. Say when they turn a light off your outlet may be connected.

So check a breaker and everything its connected too. If possible start another breaker and spread the power more evenly.

Based on what you say, my money would be on the clock itself. Is the breaker actually tripping? If it is there's no way it should turn itself back on without you flipping the breaker physically. Same with a fuse, it either works or the link is broken and it doesn't. An intermittent connection says to me the clock is starting to go, either the cord itself or the electronics inside. You could plug something else with a clock in that outlet. If the same thing happens, then go from there. Then try plugging it in a different outlet in the room, to narrow the problem down further.

I would start with the easy stuff and work my way back...
I agree with Brian that it could be the clock. Also check the outlet itself, make sure the wires are securely attached to the terminals and if it's real old replace it.
