Disc Golf
Anyone ever play it? I found out there is a free 18 hole course about 1/4-1/2 mile from me. I like mini golf, never played (or was interested in)
real golf and I like chucking frisbees. Might check it out, just wondering if anyone here has.

i have played it a few times with some friends who play a lot. you can get used discs cheap at Play It Again sports. THe course played at was in the
woods and its pretty fun on a nice day.
Well I've got a feeling I'm gonna get mine in. Retribution let the games begin.

Yeah, this one is heavily wooded. Do you need special discs or will any old frisbee do?

It would be hard to play with a regular frisbee because they move so much, i am not very good so with a regular frisbee it would be tough because you
have to throw them a lot farther than you would ever throw a regular frisbee. I got like 5 discs used for like 12 bucks used. there are different
kinds like drivers, mid range and putters. I would say get a few used ones and go out and give it a try. I got a couple extras because i knew i would
lose at least one in a tree. but i lost it in water instead. ha

always seemed a little too hippie-ish to me.
first heard of in while living in SF.
it was all berkeley people that played.
maybe that's how i got that opinion.

My cuz Jared. That is all he does besides deliver pizzas and smoke weed. Dude even sets up area competitions at select parks around our area. They
even play that shit at night.

its much less the weed smoking and the hippies that drew me to this shit
it was much more the being poor and having a free activity available thing that made it fun and appealing
